Studies have gathered symptoms and signs that define an anxiety disorder but anxiety is not being caused by a disorder instead it is due to the feelings, emotions, pressure and stress around us.
Anxiety is not felt the same in everyone; some may experience it as stress, depression, isolation or a combination of these. Also, anxiety does not have a limit to what age or sex it effects. It can occur in children, teenagers and adults.
Five major types of anxiety disorders are:
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Panic Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Social Phobia (or Social Anxiety Disorder)
As mentioned, the symptoms of anxiety are different in every person. Some people might even suffer from anxiety due to work, school or personal relationships.
It is ok to have a little bit of stress or anxiety in our life. Such as anxiety to get a job done or personal tasks that need to be completed. But if you are feeling down all the time, emotionally unstable no matter where you are then you may be suffering from anxiety
It is important to watch out for the symptoms of anxiety disorders to know if you are suffering from anxiety. If you think you are then make sure you talk with your doctor or find help online. A guide that has helped many find relief and happiness is Panic Away which I highly recommend.
