How to Control Anxiety

If you have experiencing anxiety attacks then you know how they can really be affecting your life. Each person has developed their unique way to control anxiety attacks and not everyone controls their anxiety the same way.

There are several ways to control anxiety but here we will go over the 5 most effective. One of these five tips can help you next time you are having a panic attack or to keep anxiety attacks from happening. You will realize that medication is not always needed and you can naturally control anxiety attacks.

1. One of the best ways to control an anxiety attack is by getting yourself away from other people. Many times you may start to experience anxiety because you are around to many people. How can you do this if you are in a public space? If you start to feel an anxiety attack or symptoms then go to the nearest bathroom or anywhere quiet where you can calm down.

2. Another way to control your anxiety is by getting control of something. This is because some people experience anxiety attacks when they feel they have control over nothing. If this is your case then try to find something that you can control, such as a household chore or anything that you know you have control over.

3. A great way to reduce anxiety is by controlling your breathing. Of course this is basic and you might already have heard about this but it is important that you learn how to breathe right because during anxiety attacks you might start to breath uncontrollably.

4. Watching TV is also another way to take your mind of anxiety. Try to watch funny shows that are funny or will lighting your mood. Watching family shows are best because they have positive ending that will help.

5. Talk, don't be afraid, have someone you can trust and talk on the phone or in person and vent out all your feelings. Talking with someone who will listen to you will help control your anxiety attacks.
